Read It, Write It Festival 2021
I am pleased to announce that the inaugural Read It, Write It Festival is happening right here in Wellington, FL. This one-day event on January 30, 2021 is taking place at The Mall at Wellington Green and will bring local writers and readers together.
Authors of all ages are encouraged to participate. It is my intention to help bring more attention to local established authors, as well as new budding authors. We want experienced and novice authors, adult authors and kid authors as well, promoting and selling their work.
This is a family-friendly book festival that is free for the pubic to attend. It’s an all day event that will include: writing workshops/panels, poetry readings and a literary costume contest. Writing panels will feature participating authors talking about the writing process, writing certain genres and all things writing related. Our poetry reading is open to new and experienced poets. The literary character costume contest will encourage people to dress as their favorite character from their favorite book.
Read it, Write it! will increase interest in reading and also the writing process at all ages and experience levels. Pre-Sale prices for Author tables are $35 for a six-foot table with two chairs and table cloth. Vendor tables (book-related services or merchandise) are $50.
